This fashion oasis combines high-end men’s casual styles with graphics  from Stanley Kubrick’s legendary 1971 film A Clockwork Orange in homage to the famous composer Ludwig van Beethoven.   The COVID-19 pandemic forced Willard to close his beloved Strong Sports Gym,  which he owned. His June 2020 Instagram post read, “Since we have nowhere to go, we are announcing the end.I appreciate your patronage and friendship.”

In 2014, Chinatown innovator Willard Ford offered -Revivals in downtown Los Angeles,  his Kim Sing Theater real estate for sale for $4.5 million.Built over 90 years ago in 1926 and boasting 10,000 square feet of space that has hosted both film and vaudeville, owning such an iconic theater was certainly a unique opportunity to be purchased by Willard himself  in 1999.

Ford worked with XTen Architects to completely renovate the interior with a courtyard, three-story floor plan, commercial spaces and a huge kitchen. An audiovisual room was also added, while retaining the original beamed ceilings and  cinema marquee neon signage.

For over a decade, Ford’s Kim Sing Theater has presented a variety of special events, including fashion shows and furniture displays. In addition to being used as a residence, it has been used extensively for corporate galas such as Star Wars premieres, Pepsi launches, Grammy events and BMW meetings.

Ford and his team at the flagship marketing and sales agency have decided to move their old building to the Fashion District in downtown Los Angeles.
