As an application support developer, you will be an essential problem solver, looking into client problems and identifying the underlying reason, be it a problem with the code, the data, or the configuration. You are a driven self-starter who takes charge of every new problem and sees it through to completion. Every day presents fresh difficulties. To resolve urgent problems, you will collaborate with Customer Support Specialists, Quality Assurance, the Development Team, and Management. Our enterprise software is crucial for our customers since their production environments are operational around-the-clock. Your duties will involve ensuring that the software is current and operating flawlessly while maintaining and supporting our applications in this demanding environment. Strong technical aptitude, tenacity, and effective communication skills will be needed for the job.
- Recognize and record product flaws and feature requests, and collaborate with internal support teams and clients to determine the root of the problem and offer workable remedies.
- Work closely and efficiently communicate with the management, QA, development team, and customer support.
- Deliver efficient functional and technical assistance for software applications and make sure that problems are properly logged, handled, and fixed as soon as possible.
- Conduct research, make suggestions, and develop DevOps tools to deploy, watch, and maintain software applications.
- Investigate issues with system performance, solve difficult platform challenges, and make sure applications are fault resistant.
- Support the effective deployment of all application functionality to production platforms and the transfer of application improvements into production.
- undertaking exploratory root cause studies to help solve issues with application performance, connectivity/latency of interfaces to internal and external IT systems, and functional concerns, and making recommendations for solutions.
